Hey hey! Picture post today! I wanted to share some pics from our weekend away in Sydney back in June. Eep! Backlog much? Anyhoo, we were there for two nights, mainly to see the amazing Idina Menzel live at the Opera House - she was incredible - but also managed to squeeze in a lot of fab Sydney eats! Enjoy.

Dinner at Opera Kitchen: Double cheese and bacon burger; Mushroom burger; Parmesan & truffle fries, onion rings

Chocolate eclair from Guylian Cafe - $6.50 (takeaway price)

Fried chicken and Waffle at Jazz City Milk Bar - $24

Southern Fried Chicken Burger at Jazz City Milk Bar - $17

INCREDIBLE peanut butter milkshake at Jazz City Milk Bar - $8

Espresso from Salvador Coffee

The heart-stoppingly beautiful (and expensive) Williams-Sonoma store in Bondi Junction

Dinner at Spice I Am Surry Hills: Thai ice milk tea, Som tum ($14.50), Vegetable jungle curry ($14.50), Pad see ewe ($14.50), Mini spring rolls ($8.50)

Chocolate Sour Cream Ice-Cream, frozen to order using liquid nitrogen at N2 Extreme Gelato, Haymarket

Latte at Reuben Hills - $4.00

Cappuccino at Reuben Hills - $4.00

Pork Baleada at Reuben Hills - $16

Fried chicken taco at Reuben Hills - $16

Cafe au Lait and Croissant with spreads at Le Pain Quotidien in Westfield Pitt Street - we only came here to get out of the rain. Food was average and service was haphazard. I would not recommend this place.

Xiao Long Bao at Din Tai Fung in Westfield Pitt Street - $5.80 for four
